Yes, Bush lied. In the run up to the war, those missiles which had a range slightly greater than the allowable range were known and disclosed. The inspectors on the ground during the 90's verified that Iraq dismantled their WMD programs. In the months preceding the 2003 invasion, UN inspectors could not find ANY evidence of WMD programs, and certainly not the "tons" of illegal munitions that the Bush administration suggested were there. As a result, thousands have died (and still counting) due to the sloppy, illegal and immoral invasion of a sovereign nation
