I need help on Zelda, the phantom of the hourgl!!?

I just started, did the island of ember, i fallowed the gohst ship, but it became to foggy, now it wount let me into the northern map area (too foggy) It says to check out the other islands and maybe they can help. On Molida island, im looking for that fisheman, his son tells me were his hideout is, i find his jurnal in the cave, i find a shovel, they say to go to were the stone things intersect? I think i found that, on like 3-4 small looking islands off to the right side of the mad of molida, how do i get to them? i can jump that far! advice?
