How can I display Grand Totals in my pivot tables across rows aswell as columns.?

I have checked the boxes in the Options menu to show grand totals for rows and for columns but for some reason it is only displaying totals for the columns. Please can someone help - I am new to Pivot tables but need to learn asap. Thanks
