JEPPESON APPROACH VECTOR?
If I'm flying IFR, I'm using my GPS to navigate to to the airport, correct? The GPS gives two green lines, which are approach vectors. However, as Ive noticed living near Fort Lauderdale international airport, the planes will take off and land from east or west, depending upon which way the wind is blowing. Does Jeppeson publish TWO approach cards for each airport? Does the airport broadcast some sort of satellite beacon to change the approach vector on the GPS, so the GPS shows an approach vector in the correct direction, based upon wind conditions?
