Are there any moms out there that are also nurses?

I'm going to college this fall. I have chosen Occupational Therapy istant but if I couldn't p my entrance test, I was thinking nursing as a backup plan. My father is an RN and he has told me some pretty horrific stories so I was wondering if it was just where he worked that it was like that (nursing home) or if all nurses have to put their game face on.
