Asterisk Cell Knee Braces?

I'm 17 and starting to make the change from laid back trail dirt biking to track riding with bigger and more treacherous jumps. I've been looking around and the one pair of knee braces that seem very good are the asterisk cell braces. They not only protect from bumps and scs but also from ACL and MCL and whatever kind of muscle or tendon injuries. I was wondering if it would be worth the $600 to buy these to protect against knee injuries. If anyone has these it would really help if they could tell me about how they feel about these braces. Thanks
