Help please, period question .. for girls only .?

Okay, I am fourteen and i just started my period in last september, and i've only had my period 3 times. and now it's usually once every two months. what do i do, because i'm not going to a doctor, i refuse .. you can say go go all you want but i'm not, so do you have any other solutions? and how can i prevent leakage when i go to bed. i put a towel around me and try to lay on my side, but whenever i wake up my bes is covered in blood and i have to wash my compforter everyday. and when i sit down upright it all gushes to the front , and when i sit down with my legs underneath me leaning against the couch it all gushes to the back and leaks.. i'm running out of underwear and pajamas .. what should i do ?
