Parents overreacting ?

I'm 16, my boyfriend is 17. We have been dating for almost 5 months and have hungout basically every day. I get one hickey on my neck and it's a total paradox. My parents freak out, just over a hickey and gave me a lecture on how he's not allowed in my room. Also, I'm a virgin and told my mum I was not ready for that stuff yet. How can I get them to not react over little things?
