How is my character development so far?

Sounds like your pretty standard chick-lit cliched character... I'd give her something different to make her unique from other similar characters (perhaps not working at a marketing firm, since all the chick-lit books pretty much have marketing, publishing, or PR as their work settings). Perhaps have her work inappropriately at a swanky kindergarten for rich kids, or something like that... I also wonder: Is there anything redeeming about her? Why did her husband like her in the first place if he's so wonderful? That's what I want to know. Otherwise, she just sounds like a royal b*tch without any reason for being one. What motivates her to be this way? THAT's what I'd want to know.
