Did Jesus live in a mansion, like you see most of Televangelist living in?

I thought we were suppose to be like Jesus. I go to one of those "Big MONEY MAkiNG Churches", and not once did I hear the preacher preaching about sharing the news about Jesus Christ, or even giving to the poor. All I hear is ways to try to prosper, make money, be happy.
